- Creation of environments from scratch on demand of the team (developers, QE,), maintenance and usage of these environments for testing and development (for example: created an IPv6 Environment from scratch which was a platform for development of Cisco Intelligent Automation for Cloud content for IPv6 related user stories for more than 6 months, was involved in setting up, management of environment and close interaction with developers on making the development possible, troubleshooting issues on environment and testing provisioning virtual machines there etc);
- Created and configured Windows and Linux templates in vSphere and OpenStack on different labs and environments (cvf12 lab, IPv6 lab, IAC lab etc) for provisioning of Windows and Linux VMs from these templates in vCenter and OpenStack. Used the templates I created and configured for tests with Application Configuration management tools such as Chef and Puppet and in IPv6 lab. These tasks required very deep knowledge of Linux, Windows, OpenStack, vCenter, Puppet, Chef and networking.
- Was able to determine and investigate issues in vCenter infrastructure (data center side) and then present my findings to Infrastructure teams (DC teams). Issues with domains, proxy servers, hosts, lack of permissions etc.

- Tasks:
- Application Configuration Management (ACM) service within Cisco Inteligent Automation for Cloud which required in depth understanding and knowledge of Cisco Intelligent Automation for Cloud, Puppet, Chef, vCenter and OpenStack. Tasks foresaw creation of Puppet / Chef master servers in vCenter on Linux or Windows platforms, Connection of vCenter, OpenStack, Puppet and Chef to Cisco Intelligent Automation for Cloud system, provisioning of virtual servers on OpenStack and vCenter platforms with deployment of Puppet and Chef agents and installation of roles (applications) to the provisioned servers.
- IPv6 lab. Performed complex installation form scratch of IPv6 environment for development and testing using vCenter platform. Tested provisioning of virtual machines by launching orders from Prime Cisco Catalog portal and tracking them in Process Orchestrator solution and vCenter and troubleshooting issues that were emerging on the way. Goal was that the virtual machines (Windows, Linux) would receive correct IPv6 addresses in accordance with implementation in PO and PSC.
- Performing tests that involved comparing databases on environments with different PSC, PO and IAC versions. For example: Performed complex upgrade from 4.1 to 4.3 CIAC version (PSC, PO and IAC content) on one environment and then compared data base schemas with environment that had 4.1 version to determine if there were any differences. Documented differences that were found and included in release notes if such were impossible to fix.

- Quality Assurance Engineer Lead role:
- Performed quality assurance tasks within a small development team (10 – 13 people) . Tested literally all implementation that was done by this development team for British Telecom customer. Tested PSC, PO custom content developed for the customer, reproduced bugs submitted by the customer and then either addressed them further to development team or in case bugs were irreproducible handled it with the customer and provided support with attempting to reproduce it in their environment and determine possible differences in setup. Sometimes issues addressed by customer were caused by improper configuration of the content on their environment. Created test documentation and video and audio recordings confirming quality of the implementation done by development team and presented it to the customer.
