How we work with companies in every state

Every project runs the same way, wherever your company is based:

Discovery

We learn how the software should work, who will use it and which systems it must connect to.

Architecture

We define the structure, data flow, integrations and requirements.

Design and build

We design the key screens and build the front end, back end and APIs.

Test and launch

We test the important user flows, fix issues and review performance before release.

Support and grow

After launch, we monitor the software, handle new requirements and keep improving it.

WHAT CHANGED IN PRACTICE

Clients didn’t stay because of promises. They stayed because delivery became predictable, ownership was clear, and the product kept moving forward after launch.

  • You work directly with the engineers building your system. No account managers, no relays, no information loss between decisions and implementation.

  • Work is scoped, sequenced, and delivered in clear increments. No surprises, no rushed rewrites, no stalled releases.

  • The system is designed for long-term use, maintenance, and change. Launch is the starting point, not the finish line.

  • Clients weren’t managing the team or pushing work forward. Execution didn’t depend on reminders.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about our locations, services and how we work. Can’t find an answer?

Do you work with companies in my state?

Yes. SoftDoes works with businesses in all 50 states, from early-stage startups to established companies. One team handles strategy, design, engineering and delivery, so you do not need to coordinate separate vendors. Every project follows the same process — discovery, architecture, design and build, testing and launch, then ongoing support — whether your company is in New York, Texas or Kansas. Your location changes the time zone we plan meetings around, not the quality of the work or the attention your project gets.

Where is SoftDoes located?

Our US office is in Mission, Kansas (5800 Foxridge Dr, Ste 235), in the Kansas City metro. The delivery team works remotely across time zones, so we cover clients from coast to coast and keep working hours that overlap with yours. You can meet us at the office, on a video call or at your own location for key milestones. Wherever the team members sit, you work with one accountable team and one point of contact from discovery through launch and support.

Do you have an office in my state?

Our office is in Kansas, and most projects run fully remote — that is how we work with companies across the country without adding travel costs to your budget. When an on-site visit helps, such as a project kickoff, a discovery workshop with your team or a launch, our team travels to you. Everything else runs through regular calls, shared boards and live demos, so you always see where the project stands and what comes next.

How do you work with companies in other states?

You get a dedicated project manager, regular calls scheduled in your time zone, shared task boards and a demo at the end of every sprint. You see working software early and often, give feedback while changes are still cheap, and always know what is being built next. Senior engineers do the work, and the code and data are yours from day one. Distance does not change how closely we work with your team or how quickly we respond.

Do your prices change by state?

No. Rates depend on the scope, the team and the timeline, not on where your company is located. A business in California and one in Ohio get the same pricing for the same work. Before the project starts, we agree on what will be built and how it will be billed, so there are no surprises later. If the scope changes along the way, we discuss the impact on cost and timeline with you first, before any extra work begins.

Do you work fixed price or hourly?

Both. A fixed price fits a clearly scoped project or an MVP: the requirements, budget and deadline are agreed up front. Time and materials fits products where priorities change as you learn from users, so you pay for the work actually done and can adjust the plan every sprint. We help you choose the model before the work starts, based on how well the scope is defined and how much flexibility you need, and you can switch models between project phases.

What kinds of companies do you work with?

Startups building their first product, growing businesses replacing manual work, spreadsheets and legacy tools, and established companies adding AI, cloud and data to the systems they already run. We work across healthcare, finance, education, construction, logistics, real estate, legal services and more. Whatever the industry, we start by learning how your business works, who will use the software and which systems it must connect to, and then plan the build around your goals.
