  • Kidling is an education-type project. That system provides digital control for the kindergarten. Kidling has 3 main parts: Admin, Parent and Educator portals. The system has different topics of administration:
  • Kids Administration (Kids dashboard, vaccine, siblings and etc.)
  • Contract (different contract dashboards)
  • Kid Attendance (Kid attendance and absent dashboards)
  • Contact (Contact (Parents) and Kid Contact – linking dashboard with additional information)
  • Classes
  • Events (Different events calendars)
  • Journals
  • Assessment
  • Food Menu
  • Human resources (Employees, Employee shift, employee attendance dashboards)
  • Finance Management (Counting different fees)

  • My responsibilities were:
  • Added additional logical validation to access data (validation like checking current user ID from JWT)
  • Improving authorization, adding claims to JWT and providing EndUserService
  • Improving backend architecture. Tried to split functionality to separate classes or files. Replaced anonymous types to DTO.
  • Added registration for Contacts (Parents) to provide access to the Parent app
  • Refactoring (reworked messages endpoints to fetch one array of messages instead of 7 at once)
  • Added dynamical pdf reporting based on main Entity Kid or Employee. Create a template of a report with replacement custom placeholders (like **Placeholder1**) which will be replaced with value from DB. You can select some Entities from the list and select a field which fetches from DB. The system tries to build a SQL JOIN code and fetch that data. For multiple selecting data you can select Class, Contact or any value from selectors before generating a pdf report.
  • Worked on a custom dynamic dashboard. Generate a dashboard based on the special template where you can select Entities and Fields. The system tries to build SQL JOIN`s and fetch data.
  • Worked on custom Middleware for checking Parent roles from JWT. Required to strict access for administration and educator endpoints. Added custom Role Attribute for endpoints.

  • Logistics type of project. Micro-services architecture consists of 4 services. Admin, Freight Forward and Client functionality. It provides managing tables of rates, getting available quotes from the tables, and booking and tracking shipment statuses. Led and worked on all .NET APIs, and implemented integrations with Node.JS API. Communications between APIs were implemented through RabbitMQ and Mass Transit Library (.NET part).
  • Identity API
  • Identity API provides authorization and all logics with JWT. Based on MS Identity.
  • AutoLog API
  • AutoLog API is the main API and provides different functionality depending on the user's role. Common for all users are profile pages, registration pages, login, reset password. Using AWS SES for emails, S3 for saving files.
  • Admin can manage all shipments of users, client management, Freight Forward management (+ inviting via email), admin management (+inviting via email), and rates management for all Freight Forward rates in systems.
  • Freight Forward can manage its own rates and user shipments were booked based on own Freight Forward`s rate. Chat between Client and Freight Forward bind to a shipment.
  • The client can get available quotes for booking a shipment from the rates tables of Freight Forward, track the statuses of shipments, request a custom quote from Freight Forwarders, chatting with Freight Forward in a special shipment chat.
  • Quotes Calculations API
  • That API provides calculations about available quotes from rate tables and calculates different charges depending on filtration options and requested shipment types. All manipulation for giving some info from the tables was executed by that API.
  • Email Parser API(Node.JS)
  • Email Parser API implements parsing emails with a shipment status and sends info to AutoLog API for updating the status of a shipment.
